This is not just any day camp! Drawing on years of horse camp experience in PA, over 10 years of camp here in SC, coupled with a background in early childhood education give you a unique day camp for you and your kids! Beginner riders as well as kids currently enrolled in lessons will have the chance to build their horsemanship skills. We've got two hour riding lessons, additional horse class, daily Bible studies, games, crafts and balanced catered lunches! Call today for registration info!!
Our lesson program has it's roots in the Progressive Horsemanship Program that operates in northwestern Pennsylvania. It is safety oriented while focusing on a healthy life long relationship with horses. Balance, seat, communication and fair leadership are all required to gain a horse's trust and respect. Students will learn how to do this while working in the ring and out on the trails. We teach students not only how to ride but how to care for and manage a horse safely during all those moments not on the horses' back.
His Barn began this journey a loooong time ago when owner/operator Jillian Butela was a horse crazy kid in Pennsylvania. She attended summer camp each year to water her love of horses, and discovered at a young age that she wanted to be part of something that gave back what she received at camp - tangible love, unconditional acceptance and horses, horses and more horses!
Now it's your turn to experience it too!

That's right! Schedule a trail ride and go for a walking guided ride through acres of beautiful countryside. It's like a little lost treasure out here south of busy Ballantyne. The sounds of traffic and electronics are replaced with the sounds of the hawks and the wind blowing in the trees. You will get a demonstration by staff and get to practice in the corral for a bit before hitting the trail. Your worries will be left out there in the woods as you share a long walk with one of God's most amazing animals.
